Paying for college is like sawing away at your own foot to get out of a beartrap you willing jumped into.
By the time I am an RN I may have a school debt of over $40,000. Of course that includes the 18,000 for my car, so it's actually not that much overall. I have been seriously considering just taking out a massive loan, quitting my job and working as hard as possible in school to just get it over with. I'm pretty eager to get out of my folks place and into the real world.
And personally I'm not worried about trying to pay off a massive student loan. Job hunting has always been a special gift of mine, so I don't doubt not being able to find a decent nursing job. And most nurses nowadays make a fair penny. So I'm going to do one of my favoritist things in the world and make SPREAD SHEETS!!!!!!!
